Will the photograph on the site be the same as it will look in real life?
The photographs on the site go through many quality checks before it is uploaded, so it’s as close to the original as you’ll get in a photo form. If anything, the work will usually look better in reality. However, the impact of art depends on many different things – the size, the mount, the frame, the light received on the surface, and many other factors. If you’re still unsure, you can see what our buyers have to say about the works they have purchased in the Feedback section.
What is the authenticity proof that I get with my purchase?
SusmitaZart is a platform for the promotion of beautiful and original art works. To help you prove authenticity, and for you to be able to re-sale if you wish to in the future, I will issue you with an authenticity certificate signed by me on the purchase of any art work.
Will paintings be framed?
The Shipping condition of each work is mentioned alongside its details on the website. However, normally, SusmitaZart prefers to courier artworks ‘rolled’ to minimize the chances of damage in transit. Another reason for this is that, we believe that you should have the choice of framing the painting the way you want. Installing a piece of art is a beautiful process, and part of the joy of owning the artwork comes from the installation.
How long will it take for me to receive my ordered artwork?
The anxiety around receiving a couriered artwork can indeed be great. Depending on where you are in the world, the delivery of your artwork will take approximately 7-15 days from the time that you place the order. We will do our best to keep you informed at every stage, and you will be notified of the courier details by email and SMS. In most cases, you can also track the shipment online.

How do I frame or install my art?
At SusmitaZart, we believe that there’s only one rule to installing art – make it shine.
Choose settings, frames, mounts and walls to make sure that the artwork gets the attention it deserves. Your beautiful artwork shouldn’t be overpowered by anything. Simple, clean backgrounds and surroundings work the best to make your artwork the focal point of an area.
Try to hang paintings so that the focal point of the painting is at eye level. This means that if your painting has one big element – that needs to be at eye level. Ensure that you have some ‘viewing distance’ for a painting. You need to be able to stand a few feet away (2-5 feet) and appreciate the painting in its entirety.
If you’ve got glass on a painting, make sure no light reflects off it, obscuring the view.
For canvas paintings, a great way to illuminate the depth and beauty of the painting is to install some spot lighting on it.
Ensure that canvas works are stretched and framed without glass, and paper artworks are framed with mount and glass. Remember, however you install art, make sure that it’s protected from direct sunlight and moisture, both of which can really damage a beautiful piece of art.
